Born in Manahattan, New York in 1975, Eric followed his family to Henderson, NC when his stepfather retired. Eric attended and graduated from Northern Vance High School in 1994. He then attended Vance Granville Community College where his major focus was liberal arts. By his second year at the Community College, Eric had garnered a love of film and the art of creating film. Eric had taken a trip to New York City to visit an old friend and during that trip he had the opportunity to visit a film school. It was in that setting he fell in ove with the study of film.

During his college days, Eric took every opportunity to work in film and acting but considering he was located in Henderson, NC, his access was limited to some local plays. Eric then caught the theatre bug which is still with him today.

Eric had written and staged a play about Harriet Tubman, and during the casting he met his future wife, Jessica. Eric has always believed that with so many good things happening to him in the industry, he was destined to be involved with film and acting for the rest of his life. Leanne Bernard

Talent
Leanne Bernard was born Leanne Lisa Louise Groff in Lancaster County, Pa in 1970. As a child her mother insisted on entering her in the annual, local baby parade where she won various awards, such as "most unusual costume" for being "happiness is a mud puddle" complete with rain poncho, hat and mud. Later she attended just about every class available at Rush's School of the Arts, which included but was not limited to tap, ballet, jazz, voice, acting, and piano. Over the years it was the acting and voice that she decided to concentrate on perfecting. Her high school years included singing in the Madrigal group, performing in plays and musicals and was completed by being crowned Miss Solanco 1989 in her senior year.

From there, she attended Radford University in VA where she worked on her Music Education degree which was interrupted by getting married and eventually starting a family. When the marriage fell apart, she was now living in Cary, NC where she decided to pick up where she had left off and finish her music degree at Meredith College.

Fortunately, she married "Mr. Right" and this time was able to pursue her lifelong dream of being an actress, while still pursuing her singing on the side.

Leanne is the mother of two wonderful boys, Nicholas and Benjamin, and enjoys writing skits for her church and singing with the worship team. She is thrilled to be pursuing her acting career, along with her husband Randy, after a long hiatus. She has joined ERMP in July 2006 and is hopeful to not just be an actress but to also expand her writing to short films and eventually feature length films.

As a volunteer joining the ranks of ERMP in June, 2005, Leanne will be contributing primarily as Talent.

Randy Bernard

Talent
Randall Lee Bernard, otherwise known as Randy, was born in the  great state of Louisiana, specifically Alexandria. He grew up playing basketball as the star center for his team. He graduated in 1982, from Live Oak High School in Watson, LA. From there, Randy  attended LSU, where he majored in Computer Science. “And now for something completely different,” Randy entered the Army Reserve where he served as a Military Police Officer. By this time, he was the proud papa of one Randy Lee Bernard, his only offspring.

After completing his basic training, Randy (aka “Big” Randy) returned to the corporate world and took a job working for the illustrious Jimmy Swaggart. This experience certainly opened his eyes and makes for great party conversation. After the fall of the Swaggart “Empire” in 1988, it was now time to move on to bigger and better things. Randy started working for a software consulting company in Virginia and even though he didn’t realize it at the time, speaking to large groups of people, sales experience, and learning how to read and interact with different personality types would all influence future endeavors.

In 1992, Randy transferred to the Raleigh area and it was here that he found his passion for Triathlon. As with most self professed over-achievers, Randy started his mid-life crisis early. In 1997, he changed wives and changed careers still waiting on that new sports car. Randy and his business partner started  TRImyCoach.com which provides training plans for endurance athletes all over the world (blatant plug for his company). With this new venture, he had several opportunities to be in front of the camera for local news programs and even a featured special that aired on Discovery Health Channel. He still didn’t realize that a new passion was soon to take shape.

As a volunteer joining the ranks of ERMP in June, 2006, Randy will be contributing primarily as Talent.

Lance Britt

Director – Eno Entertainment Group

It was a cold Wednesday morning in March, that same year “Around the World in Eighty Days” would win 5 Oscars, and just moments after his birth his arrival into this world was brought to light on one of North Carolina’s earliest television stations located in the Piedmont Triad community. Only 9 years earlier WFMY was one of only 66 FM radio stations in the United States.

Soon after his birth he was swept away to Florida where he would spend his toddler years listening to music his aunt would play on her guitar and the stories his uncle and friends would tell about the bright lights of Las Vegas and the entertainment business.

By age 9 he had recorded a single about his girlfriend and played rhythm guitar in a rock band. He later went on to write 3 books and had a short story featured in an educational journal and was still just in Junior High.

He began traveling back and forth from California to North Carolina to spend time with his father on the West Coast and on the East Coast with his mother. While in California in the mid-seventies he began managing rock bands and recording his own music. He formed his first record company is 1978 then in April of 1997 sold off controlling interest in his music business and bought an entertainment company. In March of 1999 shortly after his birthday he co-founded the non-profit company Eno River Media Productions, know as ERMP, with Anthony Dowling and Lester Langdale. Then in 2003 he reorganized his company and renamed it Across the Canvas Productions.

Somewhere between all this he had a popular college radio song in 1979, a popular rock radio song in 1982, and a well known sound track CD in 2001. He starred in a television series. He appeared on stage throughout the US. He is also an award winning writer and poet, artist, and educator.

Nowadays he spends his time making music, writing and directing the entertainment video journal Blank Surfaces for Across the Canvas Productions, and helping ERMP with their productions.

Mckinley Earl "Grave Digger" Bryson

Comedian
McKinley Earl Bryson was born funny, he says. The son of the late M.C. Bryson and Myrtle Bryson, McKinley recalls his parents saying he had one tooth at birth. His knack for a laugh is paying off these days as McKinley, now known as Grave Digger, is a successful comedian and actor playing in venues across the USA. The Humboldt native says his "Uncle Date" William Bryson always said the younger Bryson was born to leave Humboldt. And leave he did.

He was born in Humboldt in 1955, attended Stigall Elementary and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1972. While attending school he was picked for school plays and everything concerning entertainment, according to his website, GraveDigger3.com. When the filming of "The Liberation of Lord Byron Jones," came to Humboldt, Bryson was chosen to play a paperboy.

After finishing school he entered the U.S. Air Force where he met Sinbad and they became friends. He was prompted by Sinbad to pursue comedy. He entered several Air Force competitions and always won in his category. These days he makes his home in Durham, NC.

He just finished a movie, "Everything Copestedic", to be released soon. Next month another DVD, "Bobby G presents the Fabulous Five" will be released. Bryson "Grave Digger" is one of those five, billed as "Hottest Comedians of This Era." This video was recorded live at the club "Good Times" in Greensboro, NC. According to the jacket, "Bobby Gilmore has put together four of hottest comedians with the smooth comic intros of Grave Digger as your host."

"I want to come back to Humboldt and bring a team," he said this week from his home in Durham. The closest venue he could do his show would probably be Jackson or Memphis though. He is also considering visiting his hometown during the Strawberry Festival during a year when his schedule allows.

He has appeared as a guest host and contestant in Showtime at the Apollo and taped for the Bad Boys of Comedy. He has appeared on a couple of television shows and stays busy with night club and comedy club appearances.

Bryson enjoys it all, he says. His favorites are traveling, meeting lots of stars and appearing on TV.

Uncle Date knew what was in the stars for young Bryson long before Bryson himself knew, he says. "Uncle Date knew I had too much energy for Humboldt. That is why I was in the military 20 years," he says with joyous laughter.

After retiring from the Air Force in 1993, he began touring extensively, opening for such people as Migue Nunez from "Life" and "Juwanna Mann", Sleepy Floyd, Reggie "Broman" Ballard, Cocoa Brown, Chris Thomas, Michael Winslow, Nick Lewis, Charles Walden, Willie & Woody, D.S. Sanders, JB Smooth, Cee Jay and many more. He has also opened for groups such as Atlantic Starr, Commodores, Klymaxx and Debarge. His upcoming appearances include shows in Charleston, SC, Greensboro and Charlotte, NC and Anniston, AL.

Pam Calci

Talent
Pamela Kristine Calci was born in Rhode Island on March 9th, 1980. West Warwick High School sparked her initial interest in the arts, which then motivated Pamela to enroll at the University of Rhode Island as a theatre major with a focus on acting.

At URI, her mainstage performances include roles such as 'Mary Warren' (The Crucible), 'Lady Nijo'(Topgirls), 'Kate' (Brighton Beach Memoirs), 'Bee Bee' (SubUrbia), and 'Mrs. Webb' (Our Town). Here, she has been driven to continue her acting efforts. Over the past 2 years, involvement with the independent film arena has put her theatrical training to the test.

Pamela is confident that she will be able to channel her passion and talent through the artistic vessel that is Eno River Media Productions.

Mark Cares

Quick Minute Chef
Insight NC

Born and raised in New York and Massachusetts, Mr. Cares moved to Denver, Co. to attend Denver University’s Hospitality Management and Tourism Program. During the summer break of his freshman year, Mark traveled to Maui, where he worked bussing and waiting tables. Continuing in his studies, Mark earned a job with the city’s up and coming catering company, Epicurean Catering. Continuing the culinary training he received during his years in junior high and high school, marked worked in both on and off site kitchens.

In 1992, having graduated with a four year B.S.B.A. degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism, Mark was hired in a line cooks position to help open the first House Of Blues, located in Harvard square in Cambridge MA. After a year, of intense training and learning, Mark decided that his talents and knowledge were still lacking. For the next seven years, Mark traveled the country working in: Cleveland, Martha’s Vineyard, Key West, Alaska, and then Monterey, CA. During this time Mark worked his way up to being both a front of the house manger as well as an Executive Chef. With his strong business background and education, Mark saw the impending dot com bubble about to burst and decided to take a six month trip back to the East Coast.

While visiting family in Chapel Hill, in December of 2000, Mark was involved in a traffic accident. Friends had advised Mark for years that he should start a cooking show; not being able to think of a unique theme Mark set the advice aside. During his recovery from the accident, Mark was finally struck with a cooking show concept he felt confident enough to pursue. With the power going off in California and thousands of people being laid off, Mark realized that North Carolina was the place he should be.

His experience in front of the camera has been garnered from Chapel Hill’s The People Channel as the Barefoot Chef and Insight NC as the Quick Minute Chef, as well as various interviews with news stations during his travels. Mark joined ERMP in 2001 as the Quick Minute Chef.

As a result, amazing things are accomplished when you not only empower the minds of aspiring artists, but provide them with the tools to reach their potential. That is what Anthony and his staff have done with ERMP.”

She also did a series of interview shows for community television. Community theater productions kept her busy between shows when wifely or motherly obligations did not claim first priority. When she was not occupied with any of the aforementioned, she had a private practice as an Individual/Marital therapist and as a divorce mediator. She has retired from those practices and spends that time more productively as a doting grandmother. Naomi is once again involved in theater, has been seen on local television in commercials, and is delighted to be a correspondent for ERMP’s Insight NC.

Juan Carlos Guzman

ERMP Talent
Juan Carlos Guzmán was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico with a baseball in hand and a vivid imagination. JC finished his schooling at Cary Senior High and went on to graduate from NC State with an Electrical Engineering degree. During his last semester at NC State, he chose to take "Intro to Theater" as a free elective. Needless to say, his second passion, which was put in the backburner to pursue his initial dream of baseball, re-emerged in full force. The highly acclaimed Raleigh Little Theatre was the home for his training. While still having a lot to learn he pursued auditions eventually being casted in short films and commercials. He finally landed his first lead in 2004 as the character of John Stiles in Shadowdog Productions' "Mansions In Heaven" feature indie film. He credits this production for teaching him many valuable lessons in the wonderful world of movies. Juan-Carlos most recently worked with Bryan Greenberg, Laura Prepon, and Tom Berenger on a Pilot entitled "October Road" directed by "Kiss the Girls" director Gary Fleder landing him his SAG eligibility.

JC believes everything in life is a learning experience and you must grow a little bit every time. He understands the power a movie holds in conveying a message to the masses and wants to use this medium to pass on some of his lessons to others. He eventually wants to be at the helm of his own production company and act/direct in his screenplay, which he has been working on for the last 2 years.

Juan-Carlos Guzmán joined ERMP in Feb 2006.

Kevin Hipps

Production Technician
Kevin Hipps was born on September 18, 1959 in Waynesville, NC. He graduated from Pisgah High School in 1978. Kevin attended the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh majoring in Technical design and Production for the Theatre and Commercial Art.

Kevin says, ““It's insidious. It starts in childhood and progresses through adolescence into the adult years. It grows with every hour spent sitting in darkness, hands gripping a tub of buttered popcorn or a box of Raisinets, while the mind... aloft on celluloid wings... travels to a seedy bar in Casablanca, to a freshly opened tomb in Egypt, to a lightning-fraught laboratory in Europe where a massive creature breaths and opens a dull yellow eye, to an otherwise empty room were Fred Astaire is bringing a coatrack to life, and to the unknown reaches of deep space. It is an abiding fascination with the process of putting pictures on film and, frame by frame, bringing them the gifts of movement and sound. And most of all, it is the thought... rarely expressed for fear of eliciting unintentional laughter... that says simply, but with conviction, "Someday, I'm going to do that!"

"Art has the power to evoke emotional responses from people- to make them feel and perhaps to think. Perhaps this emotional power of art is the reason people are drawn to it. A good example is the popularity of films during the depression. People flocked to theaters to "escape." To escape a world in which thinking and feeling were grim; it allowed them to feel things that those difficult days did not allow; it permitted them the relief of being able to feel comfort, joy and simple pleasure in existence; it gave people the emotional fuel to survive until the time when these feelings would be part of their daily existence again. Such is the positive power of art and film as one of the most intensely involving mediums."

Kevin joined ERMP in August of 2007.

Julie Hockenberry

Production Tech
Insight NC

Julie Hockenberry is a true native to North Carolina. Born in Chapel Hill, she has lived in the state her entire life.

College was the next obvious step after high school, though like most, she had not a clue what path she truly wanted to take and originally entered the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a biology major. She began to find her place by taking a smorgasbord of classes her sophomore year and switching from science to film after discovering the Department of broadcasting and Cinema. As she dug deeper into her studies, she fell in love with animation and was amazed to find that she actually could do it…despite the fact that her Mickey Mouses tended to look like strange bears.

Her first animation was a short titled A Day in la Vie of a Hamster which was about, well, the life of a hamster...a mischievous clay one that tried to escape his cage and fought off a snake (who said hamsters lead boring lives?). Her second try was an experimental film that combined live-action with stop motion in what could perhaps best be described as a visual haiku called "Randomity".

Having graduated from UNCG in 2002, she doing things a bit backwards now and is currently enrolled in the Digital Effects and Animation Technology program at Piedmont Community College as an affordable "graduate school" (after all, graduate school is simply advanced study of what you learned before). She lives in Reidsville, NC and spends a great deal of time playing with her imaginary friends who will all hopefully make appearances in her next projects. Julie joined ERMP in May 2004.

Travis Johnson

Director - Eno Entertainment Group
Travis I was born on April 12, 1985 at Duke Hospital in Durham, NC. When he was barely able to walk Travis would sit in front of that TV as long as his parents would allow and watch MTV non-stop. So, from early on Travis was exposed to pop culture through MTV and through the stereo in his living room.

With everything from Barry White, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers, Rod Stewart, and Lionel Richie his love for music began to grow. During the summer Travis would attend a day camp in Durham. One time she took Travis to the movies to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this happens to be the first film he remembers seeing in theaters. He watched the show avidly on TV but this was a whole other world. This was something that Travis had never really got to enjoy. So from that point on he absorbed every movie he could whilst still enjoying the fine art of music.

As Travis got older he would go to the local video rental store as much as possible. It even got to the point as a teenager that Travis would hang out there and chat it up with the employees, exchanging ideas on plots for a movie or debating the classics.

When he was 17, Travis started working at the local, and newly built, Movie Theater. It was a job yes, but one that enabled him to absorb everything that he could about film. After graduating from Person High School, Travis took a job as an IT professional at a local Roxboro store.

Using the technical knowledge he had along with his financial means, Travis started assimilating equipment to make films. With his career in film making, Travis hopes to create films that fill people with emotion and inspire them.

"I want to inspire anyone and everyone that I can to go with their hearts, to pursue their creative drives. Whether it be film, photography, painting, sculpting, making music, whatever it is…be passionate about it and be yourself. I don’t look at the future and think to myself, ’I want to be that person holding a Oscar.’ I look at myself and my future films and want to see ’Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival‘, or ’Official Selection from South by Southwest Film Festival.‘ Sticking to the underground has always been something that I hold dear. The people within the underground scene of both film and music are passionate about the arts and know what they want. With the help of ERMP I hope to make many films to inspire others and to express the passion that dwells within.”

Travis Johnson joined ERMP in October of 2006.

Myles Scott

ERMP Talent
The date was August 9th, 1987 when Myles Scott was born into the world in the very sunny city of Boca Raton, FL. He only spent a few of his young years there when he was suddenly moved to Wake Forest, NC. Throughout his younger years, he jumped around cities within NC and even lived in Burbank, CA.

Myles grew up with being taught by home schooling. The reason for that wasn't because of all the moving, but it definitely was convenient. Upon moving back down to Boca Raton at age fifteen, he was approached at his church to possibly join the youth drama team. That summer was a stepping stone for him. He attended a grueling two-week long drama camp workshop that threw him on stage in his very first stage production as lead supporting acting in front of a crowd of 250+. Towards the end of the summer, he joined a local theatre and started taking theatre workshops there for quite a while and also being a part of various stage productions.

This past year Myles was given the opportunity to start working with film productions, which is one of his dreams. He's wanted to work within the film and television industry ever since he was a little kid. He's simply trying to learn the ins and outs of the industry and trying to discover all that he can. Discovery is a big thing for him, which is his driving point within the industry. He strives to discover new ways to approach a character in a script, or to find new angles to shoot things, and the list goes on and on.

One of the best things about this business to him is the fact that he is meeting new people nearly everyday and making new friendships.

As a volunteer joining the ranks of ERMP in May 2006, Myles will be contributing as a Talent in ERMP television and movie productions.

Later, her interest continued as college included drama as well as stage productions.

Catherine’s experience has been varied throughout the years. She began by doing extra work in a good many feature films such as "Black Dog", "Carrie II-The Rage", "Summer Catch", and "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" (stand-in for Maggie Smith and body double for Ellen Burstyn), etc. Since then she has moved to principal roles in independent films, commercials, and TV hosting. She co-hosts a local TV show "Live at Nine" twice a month and other local broadcast events. Her experience in the entertainment business also includes work as assistant to the producer, producer, talent agent, casting, and assistant director on indie projects. Currently, she is expanding to voice-over projects and plans to begin auditioning for musical theatre.

Jeff Shoup

Insight NC Editor
Jeff was born in Washington D.C., but grew up in western Pennsylvania. After high school, he attended Penn State, receiving a BA in General Arts and Sciences in 1988. After graduation, he worked in several unsatisfying jobs before moving to the Raleigh area in 1993. Since living in this area, he has worked in the retail book industry. Books are one of his passions, and the book industry gives a lot of satisfaction to him.

Jeff’s other passion is film. It sounds cliched, but after September 11, he began to evaluate what I really wanted to do in life. The answer was to make movies. So that is what he has pursued as a second "job" since then. Books pay the bills, but film is what keeps him going. He bought a video camera and some editing software, and through books(!) he began teaching himself about the film industry. His ideal goal is to one day direct his own movie.

In February 2005, Jeff accepted a position with Eno River Media Production as Editor for Insight NC.

Chad Smith

As a kid, Chad grew up hearing Motown on his mom’s record player. From that early age, music got into his bones. Chad’s intensity drove his quest for more knowledge about anything associated with music. He knew he could play some instruments, but not well. Ashley Summerrow

Talent
Charles Ashley Summerrow was born in Hendersonville, NC on December 30, 1969. He has been a lifelong resident of the area (except for military service). Ashley graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1988. After a few years of searching for his identity, he joined the U.S. Army. Although he stayed stated-side during his entire enlistment, he traveled from coast to coast in his service. When he didn't find the aforementioned identity, he decided to leave the military in 1995. After returning home to NC, Ashley married Judy Arrowood. They have a 15 year old girl and a 2 and a half year old son. Charles currently manages a heavy equipment trucking facility in Skyland, NC.

Mr. Ashley has been involved with his church in the arts for several years now. He acts in skits and also sings with some of the bands that the church uses on Sunday mornings. About four years ago, a friend placed the Hendersonville Little Theater in touch with Ashley. He auditioned for and got the role of Buddy Talley in Talley and Son. Since then he has taken on other roles in Community Theater including the lead role as Father Brian Rivard in The Runner Stumbles.

The acting bug has bitten Ashley hard. He is actively pursuing his interests (as time permits), in various manners. He has a feature role in the upcoming animated movie THE MAGISTICAL, in which he provides the voice of Dis. Ashley very much likes the notion of taking someone to a place that they otherwise would not see. Acting enables this to take place. As an actor, he feels that it is his responsibility to accurately deliver the emotions necessary for this to happen. He knows that his ship has come in, he just hasn't figured out how to get on board yet.

Ashley joined ERMP in October of 2005.

Nathan Swanson

Movie Review Critic
Although born in Virginia, Nathan Swanson says the Midwest is really his native land - Decatur, Illinois to be exact. He currently lives in Durham with his dog, a terrier named Griffin.

His love of film started as early as he can remember. The first movie he recalls watching was Billy Wilder’s "One, Two, Three" when he was around 5 years old. After that he was hooked on the magic of make-believe. Today he works as a writer at UNC-TV, North Carolina’s PBS network. In his leisure, he can be found in movie theatres or film festivals, personally corresponding with actors (they do write back!), or putting the finishing touches on "69 Super Exciting, Fabulous Films", a reference book he has written on film. To be a super-exciting fabulous film, he says one must want to think about the film for three days after the initial screening. It needs to make some kind of impact on the way we think and feel. And if asked what film he would most like to be stranded with on a desert island, he answers "It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" - because it really is.

Adam Tate

Deputy Director, Eno Shorts Division
Adam Tate was born amidst a hospital fire in Atlanta, Georgia, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1982. Growing up in Athens, Georgia, Adam was influenced by his  father, a two-time Emmy nominated lighting director. His parents invoked a worldly regiment of classical cinema and opera instead of Sesame street and the Muppets. Unfortunately, to this day, Adam can not name the green trashcan dwelling creature or any of Mr. Rogers‚ odd train-driving friends. However, he can relay the story of Siegfried and Brunhilde's battles over the Ring of the Nebiellung and say the alphabet backwards.

Adam attended the University of Georgia as a drama major for two years before moving to Savannah, Georgia to learn the ways of the world and the deadly art of filmmaking via an apprenticeship to a local filmmaker, working on several commercials and documentaries.

"Adam, what was your greatest achievement while working in the industry in Savannah?" you may ask, "Once we were doing an infomercial about the Rascal electric scooter, and I got to drive the scooter around downtown Savannah. It was excellent."

Retreating from the crime infested-tourist wasteland of the Georgia coast, he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend the School of Communication Arts, where he earned a best short drama award for his film „Fragile‰, and diploma in Digital filmmaking in 2005.

As a volunteer joining the ranks of ERMP in January, 2006, Adam will be contributing as Deputy Director of the Eno Shorts Division.

Chad Teribery

ERMP Voice Over
Chad was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania where he graduated from Franklin Area High School. His passion for broadcasting began well before that. At age 12 Chad was doing a cable access radio show and DJing dances and events across the area. His senior year of high school, Chad became Chief Announcer and Program Director for WFHS.

In college he worked for several commercial stations as well as the university radio station. It was at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where Chad learned audio and video production, editing, writing, directing, and producing. In his sophomore year at IUP he first got involved in TV news as a weathercaster for WIUP News. From there Chad became Chief Weathercaster and human interest reporter for the news team until graduation.

It was also during his college years that he began PA announcing for IUP sporting events and eventually started ring announcing in Pittsburgh for a professional wrestling organization known as United States Championship Wrestling. In addition to his ring announcing duties, Chad did interview segments that all aired on Pittsburgh’s UPN-22. His college experience also included an internship in Erie, Pennsylvania at NBC-17’s weather center, news department, and voice-over production for television.

After graduation it was on to the greener pastures of North Carolina. Chad soon was back in the radio joining the staff at 680 WPTF in Raleigh, where he produced “Maury and Donna in the Morning”. That’s when he also became highly involved in commercial production and was guided by some of the best voices and News Talents in the business. Around that time Chad began ring announcing boxing and Toughman events all over the state for several promoters including former boxer and heavyweight champion James “Bone Crusher” Smith.

After going back to school for several IT certifications, Chad soon joined another professional wrestling organization, Southern Championship Wrestling. Enter Anthony Dowling, an associate to this day. Chad was the play-by-play man and ring announcer for the events and TV shows produced by ERMP. He still does voice work for ERMP and other freelance voice-over ventures in addition to ring announcing for pro wrestling, boxing, and Toughman events. Chad is currently back with Curtis Media Group as a news anchor for the Triangle’s top news station, NewsTalk 680 WPTF.
